Over to Spain this week for a concert by Orquesta Sinfonica de Eskadi, conducted by Andrey Boreyko and featuring the inimitable Hèlène Grimaud, piano.
Only two works for this concert, recorded by Radio Nacional Espana on October 8, 2009; Rachmaninoff‘s Piano Concerto Number 2 and Tchaikovsky‘s Symphony Number 1 (Winter Dreams).
The top player is the Rachmaninoff and the bottom player is the Tchaikovsky.
This might go rather well with your debate postmortem . . .anti-Road Rage and all.
