4 Guys From The Future are a band from Denmark that, if you haven’t already heard about them, here is ample evidence that you should know about them. Recorded during a live session at FIP, the wonderful Radio France Progressive/Eclectic station in Paris, on March 5th of this year, 4 Guys offer up a wonderful set of haunting, captivating and ultimately satisfying and enjoyable music.

Bjarke Porsmose (voix, guitare, clavier), Jarno Varsted (clavier, guitare), Mads Brinch Nielsen (basse, voix) et Rasmus Valldorf (batterie, voix), voici les quatre compères formant depuis 2009 le groupe 4 Guys from the future. Tous ont joué et continuent de jouer dans d’autres formations aux influences diverses, allant de la pop à l’électro. De leur rencontre dans la bouillonnante capitale allemande, autour des textes de du guitariste et clavier Bjarke Porsmose, naît un véritable projet commun : “Under the new morning sun”. Un album immédiatement plébiscité par nos programmateurs et qui devient en octobre dernier une sélection Fip. 9 titres qui marquent un renouveau dans la pop psychédélique de ces dernières années.
