Over to Salzburg this week for a concert by the Camerata Salzburg, conducted by Kent Nagano and featuring the legendary Maria João Pires in the Mozart Piano Concerto No. 27.

Recorded on August 13, 2011, the concert also features music of Ives, Karl Amadeus Hartmann and Gustav Mahler.

It’s spread out over two players – the top player features the Ives and Hartmann and the bottom player features the Mahler and Mozart. Since the concert was relayed by RTS in Geneva, the announcements are in French.

A great concert, covering a lot musical bases in one evening. Here’s the rundown:
