Heading over to Warsaw (by way of Madrid) this week for something Spring-like from the Aukso Chamber Orchestra of Tychy, conducted by Marek Mos, and joined by The Orchestra of The 18th Century, conducted by Frans Brüggen, in a concert of music of Lutoslawski, Boieldieu, Godefroid, Pescetti, Brahms and Josef Strauss. It was recoded by Polish Radio on August 27th 2013 and relayed to RNE Radio Clasica.
A lot of music crammed into a concert of a little over an hour, but it’s a energetic little get-together and it goes well with Spring and Wednesday.
It’s all on one player – so here’s what you get:

Nice concert, and the Aukso Chamber Orchestra are an enthusiastic little band to keep an eye on. They’ve been touring around quite a bit this year. Who says music is boring?
Enjoy.
