Another classic Archive concert this week. The Swedish Radio Symphony conducted by the celebrated (and former L.A. Philharmonic Music Director) Esa Pekka Salonen and featuring the legendary Mitsuko Uchida as Piano soloists in a stunning performance of the 3rd Beethoven Piano Concerto.

Rounding out the concert – starting with a new work by Swedish composer Ingvar Lindholm, Greetings From An Old World and ending the concert with Mahler‘s Symphony Number 1.

All recorded on July 21, 1986 by Sveriges Radio in Stockholm and re-broadcast in the U.S. via American Public Radio.

Welcome to Anti-Road Rage Wednesday.

Enjoy.
