Back to the 80s tonight for a concert by Big Country, recorded in 1983 by the venerable BBC Radio 1. As the early 80s became wrapped in a blanket of Techno, synthesizers and drum machines – Big Country came along and took every back a few steps. A guitar based band which immediately caught peoples attention and was a welcome respite from the seemingly endless barrage of electronica.
