Michel Dalberto – Prize winning pianist, who began studying at the age of 3 and rose to prominence by the age of 12 and has had a long-lasting and highly successful career as one of the world’s great pianists ever since.

From his initial studies with the legendary Vlado Perlemuter, he won the prestigious Clara Haskil Prize in 1975, and later won the first prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition.

Since then he has enjoyed a career that has alternated between performing and assuming duties as Professor of Piano and the Paris Conservertoire as well as adviser on numerous piano competitions as well as an extensive recording schedule.

This week’s concert comes by way of the 2010 International Chopin Festival, held in Warsaw during August of 2010.
