Clink on the link and relax: Yury Revich Recital – July 16, 2012
Staying in France this week, and staying with the Radio France/Montpellier Languedoc-Roussilon Festival and a recital by Russian wunderkind Yury Revich in a program of music by Beethoven, Paganini, Giovanni-Battista Pergolese, Debussy, Astor Piazzolla, Richard Dubognon and Pablo Sarasate. Recorded and broadcast live by the venerable Radio France Musique on July 16th (just two days ago), although for some reason, the audio stream wound up in mono. But still . . .

Another stunning example of just how exciting the Summer Festival season is in Europe this year and just how wonderful the programs are. This is the perfect example of mixing the familiar with the unfamiliar and the end result is a satisfying and enriching experience. God knows, we can use it right about now.
