Over to Paris this week for a recital by the great Pianist Yefim Bronfman, recorded at the Salle Pleyel on May 15th of this year by the ever-present and always-wonderful Radio France Musique.
Good across-the-board recital with works by Haydn, Brahms, Prokofiev and three thunderous encores by Chopin, Scarlatti and Liszt.
The whole thing fits on one player and goes well with Cabernet and/or some light reading. Me personally, I just stare at the ceiling.
