I haven’t played any Futureheads in a while, but I just ran across this short concert they did at the 2008 Rocknacht Festival in Köln in 2008 and had to share it.
One of my favorite bands from practically the start, they have come to epitomize that Post-Punk genre that keeps circulating around and gone mainstream by way of bands like Green Day. Short, rapid-fire songs, loaded with hooks are The Futureheads trademark and they manage to pack a lot in during this 55 minute set.
So, in the odd event the soothing sounds of a 1969 Classical concert from Paris just isn’t your thing tonight – here’s something to increase the voltage in your drive to work tomorrow.
