Over to the Beacon Theater, New York in 1979 for this concert by Tom Waits.

I haven’t run any Tom Waits in a while – no good reason. But a Tom Waits concert is always highly anticipated and extremely satisfying event. Waits is one of the great singer-songwriter-performers of the last several decades. And if his songs weren’t appealing enough, his verbal excursions through the labyrinth of surreal social imagery more than closes the deal.

No doubt, I’m preaching to the choir on this one – but if for some insane reason you’ve never heard Tom Waits before, this is an excellent place to start.

And heading into the direction of Saturday night – this is pretty damned perfect, if you ask me.

Turn it up and enjoy.
