Over to Paris this week for a concert by Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, led by star-on-the-rise Tito Ceccherini in a concert devoted entirely to the music of Bela Bartok. On hand to assist with the Tempo di Ciaccona is Helène Ruff. It was recorded by the ever-present and always-incredible Radio France Musique on December 17, 2013.

A bit short this week (a little under an hour), it’s nonetheless a nice feast of Bartok, conducted by one of the up-and-comer specialists in modern repertoire.
