Over to Stockholm tonight for a short concert by Connecticut Psych-meisters MGMT, paying a visit to Sweden, hot on the heels of the release of their third album, recorded by the venerable Sveriges Radio P3 on September 29, 2013.
Hitting it pretty much straight out of the box, MGMT have enjoyed a healthy run since 2006 when their debut album came out via Columbia Records.
They’ve been getting accolades and high marks from Press and audience alike, and judging by the response from this Stockholm crowd, they feel right at home on Scandinavian ground as well.
If you haven’t seen them lately, or aren’t familiar with MGMT, check this one out. Only 22 minutes, but well-worth a listen.
