Continuing our weekly journey through rehearsals with the BSO. This week, Music Director Charles Munch leads the orchestra in rehearsals of music by Debussy and Franck. Nuages and Fetes from Nocturnes by Debussy and Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.

The rehearsal was recorded on April 29, 1951 – narrated by the ever-present Ben Grauer and recorded by NBC Radio.

As always, no complete performances, but a lot of rehearsing and running through.

Get out your batons – I know you have one hiding there someplace. . . .
