Taking advantage of the relative peace and calm of a holiday weekend by adding a taste of guitar legend Jim Hall to the mix. This one, from a gig in Toronto at The Bourbon Street in June of 1979.
On this date, Hall is joined by Don Thompson on bass and Terry Clarke on drums, and even though it’s a relatively short set (a touch over 41 minutes), it’s a low-key swinging affair that has Sunday written all over it.
So my suggestion is to pull up a comfy chair, put down the paper and be prepared to gaze at the ceiling.
And you can come back to earth in 41 minutes.
