Another rarity this weekend – T-Bone Walker and B.B. King together on stage at the 1967 Monterey Jazz Festival, recorded for posterity by The Voice Of America on September 16, 1967.

An all-star occasion with, in addition to Walker and King, guest luminaries Illinois Jacquet on sax, Lloyd Glenn on piano, Melvin Moore on trumpet, Duke Jethro on organ and Jesse Price and Sonny Freeman on drums (Price on the T-Bone portion of the set and Freeman on the King portion of the set).

Definitely a memorable occasion for all.

Turn this one up and relax.
