Over to Paris this week for a concert by the Russian sensation Daniil Trifanov in a recital of music by Bach, Beethoven and Liszt. It was recorded by the always spot-on Radio France Musique at the celebrated Théåtre des Champs Elysées in Paris on October 8th of this year.

In addition to his tour de force Pianistic abilities, Trifanov is also an up-and-coming composer. So at  23 Daniil Trifanov is already a seasoned veteran and very much hailed the world over as a Pianist of considerable talents.

At a little under 2 hours, I’ve broken up the concert into two parts – and here’s what’s on the players:

Le pianiste Daniil Trifonov en solo dans des oeuvres de Bach, Beethoven et Liszt.

The audience is suitably reluctant to let him go. A great concert and something to get comfortable with on a long December night.

Enjoy.
