It’s Festival season again – well, not Summer festival or even Spring Festival but Winter Festival season. Tonight it’s Olympia Washington’s own Naomi Punk, ending up their first European Tour by opening Route du Rocker Hiver (Winter) Festival last night (Feb. 27) in St. Malo. France.

Blitzing across the Continent which started in January, Naomi Punk have been laying the groundwork for return engagements. The crowd at St. Malo last night took a short time to warm up. But once they did, the signs were good.

They next head back to the States to begin a March tour of the West Coast, starting in Portland on the 5th and ending in Davis California on March 18.

If you’re getting acquainted with Naomi Punk, head over to their website and see what they’re up to and where they’re headed next.

In the meantime, have a listen to what they were up to Friday night in France.

More from Route du Rock in the next few days. Stay tuned.
