About 2 years ago, I ran another session by the Spanish Indie/Alternative band Pasajero (Passenger). At that time, they had just formed from the remnants of a previous band, Zoo, which had broken up late in 2012. At that time, I ran an early session from 2013, also from the venerable Radio Nacional España, and predicted good things for this new endeavor.

Two years later and things are moving right along. With a new album (Amusement Park) released in January, good press and a number of awards, Pasajero have been getting their message across and the audience is growing. Last year they were a surprise hit at the legendary Netherlands Festival Pinkpop. I don’t know what their tour plans are for this year, but it’s a safe bet they will be heading all over Europe before the year is out.

To give you taste of what they’re up to now, here is a session they recorded on March 15 of this year.

Crank it up and enjoy – and you get a chance to brush up on your Spanish too!
