Continuing our recap of Weekend 1 at Coachella with a taste of Post-Punk from Leeds from Eagulls, from the first day. Eagulls have been around since 2010 and have already gotten a solid reputation from the press and audiences back home. They are breaking ground over here and have already done a stint on David Letterman as well as SXSW and CMJ festivals last year.

Slightly reminiscent of a toss between The Futureheads and Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Eagulls released their debut album in March of 2014, riding on the coattails of BBC 6 Music‘s Steve Lamacq naming them Favorite band of 2013 as well as being chosen to be support band for Franz Ferdinand’s 2014 world tour.

All good signs pointing to a successful future.

If you aren’t familiar with them and are heading off to Coachella for Weekend Number 2, here’s a taste of what you can look forward to. Check them out. If you already went and missed them – crank this one up.
