Laetitia Sheriff is a French Singer-Songwriter with three albums to her credit. Sheriff has been gigging around her native France of late, promoting her latest album, Pandemonium, Solace and Stars.

Sheriff’s vocals are dark and sultry – her songs are swathed in a tone of mystery. This session, part of a regular series of live in-studio appearances on Oui-FM in Paris, was recorded on April 1st.

A short session, only two songs – but a good sampling of an artist it would be nice branched out, perhaps across the Atlantic. All of her material is in English, which appears to be the modus operandi of a lot of French musicians these days. They are aiming for an international audience – and certainly, an artist like Laetitia Sheriff is more than capable of that. At the moment, she’s on tour throughout Europe until August.

Have a listen.
