Continuing with the latest batch of sessions from the recently concluded London Calling Festival in Holland last week.
Palace are another discovery. Relative newcomers (together since 2014), Palace are a London-based band who have created a lot of buzz with their debut ep Lost In The Night, which came out this past October. And with another ep on the way Chase The Night, Palace have been making inroads and doing more live gigs. The year so far has been pretty busy, with gigs in Glasgow, Leeds and a couple shows in France. All indications are this band is heading places and it will only be a matter of time before they hit the States.
In the meantime, here is an acoustic session with two tracks, recorded last week by the ever-present VPRO.
Not high-voltage – borderline low-key – solid performances – must-see.
