Further evidence the world is having a mind-blowing experience. From Sweden comes the latest installment of Better Living Through Chemistry in the form of Tussilago, a band who have been together since 2011 and freely site The Doors, Fela Kuti and Deerhunter as their inspirations.

With their debut album Goldenface just released, Tussilago are wasting no time getting the word out. And so far the word is good, judging from the reviews. Cut in a little over 7 days with 18 tracks, Tussilago are on a roll. This session at Sveriges Radio P3‘s studios earlier this week gives some clue where the band is heading – and it’s heading in some good directions.

Too early to tell what their plans are – although they have already played gigs in China and Cuba – I’m not sure if they’ve hit SXSW this year or are planning on doing any sweeps through the U.S., but it would be nice if they did.

More exciting sounds to explore. A lot of interesting music is coming out this year; festival season is well-underway and the lineups are loaded with new bands and bands hitting the road for the first time. 2015 is shaping up to being a good year so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

In the meantime, crank this one up and give it a listen – they sing in English, so don’t sweat the language thing. You really shouldn’t anyway. Jus’ sayin’ . . . .
