Past Daily’s Spring Fundraiser – Update 11
Day 18 – 13 days left to go with 12% of our goal funded. A huge and grateful thanks and big hug to everyone who has chipped in so far – you’ve made a huge difference. Now, if I could just convince the rest of you – the 2,000+ who visited yesterday to chip in a little bit, that would be amazing. I know it’s easy to think someone else will do it – somebody else will pick up the slack. Unfortunately no. If you’re reading this and you haven’t chipped in, I’m talking to you. I’m not asking you to turn over your life savings – I am not asking you to go through any hardship or inconvenience in order to help me keep the site going and the archive preserving and restoring – I’m not asking that. What I am asking, is if you come by and visit every day or once a week, or at night when the music posts come up or the weekends when the Jazz and Pop Culture posts come up, and you really like what you hear – or hear something you haven’t heard before or made a discovery you didn’t know about, to please kick in a little to make sure it continues. It’s Tax Deductible – that means you get money back come April 15th – and maybe that’s not such a big deal, here in June with April being almost a year off. But it will when you’re looking for those deductions come January of next year.Bottom line – I need your help. I am asking for your contribution, large or small, so I can continue giving you all the best of what the archive has – all the history, culture, interviews and Music – things maybe you’ve have never heard or thought existed before – that’s something that happens every day with Past Daily. It only happens here.So I have 13 days left to convince you to take the plunge and click on the link which takes you to the donation page – 13 days to help make a difference. If you’re on the fence, now is the time to make the decision to help us preserve history. If you’ve already made your contribution, tell your friends what we’re up to and ask them to help. Everyone benefits.
