James Bay has had a meteoric rise, since his first appearance in 2013. Several eps and a debut album, Chaos and The Calm riding high on U.S. and UK charts – it’s another indication this singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire is making all the right moves and the audience is responding in all the right ways.

This set, recorded only a few hours ago by BBC 6 Music at Glastonbury 2015, was billed as a Surprise Set – clearly, the audience were more elated than surprised. Glastonbury has become well known for its surprises. And even though the festival has gotten off to a soggy start, it’s living up to its reputation as being one of the premier festivals in the world.

A lot of surprises and a lot of great music this weekend.

Check out this set by James Bay and stay tuned for more from Glasto this coming week.
