Frank Turner And The Sleeping Souls – Live At Pinkpop 2015 – June 14, 2015 – VPRO/3VOOR12 – Netherlands

A high-charged set from Frank Turner tonight, from his Pinkpop Festival appearance this past June. Hitting the road hard this year to promote his 7th Studio album, Positive Songs For Negative People, Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls are going all over Europe this Summer, and heading to the States later on in the year for a round of concerts, before heading back to the UK in October to finish up the year back where they started.

Turner pushes a lot of buttons and presses a lot of receptive chords with the audience. His blend of Folk-Punk appeals to the anarchist sensibility in many – and he’s no half-measures kind of guy. In short, his concerts are 110% – and, as has been reported, he sings himself hoarse.

So to get you familiar if you aren’t already, or remind you of why you’re making plans to catch him when he comes to town, here is his set from Pinkpop to fill in all the blank parts.

And you really do need to play this one loud.
