Literally finished hours ago, this set from Jacco Gardner at Rock en Seine in France, part of the first day of what is shaping up to being another great festival in a year of great festivals.
Gardner is no stranger to these pages. I am a huge fan, and have been since I first heard him via 3FM in The Netherlands. He’s continuing on and gathering a very large and loyal following and is one of the freshest voices in this current crop of Music making the rounds this year. Thoroughly engaging and enjoyable, Gardner and his performing cohorts manage to cram a lot of ideas in a 40 minute set.
If you’re not familiar with the music of Jacco Gardner, you can dig around these pages and find some of his earlier concerts, including a great one via La Blogothéque around a year ago. He also has a new album out now (Hypnophobia) which has just been issued in the U.S.
In the meantime, crank this one up and check out what you missed earlier today.
