A blast of Americana at the Area 4 Festival in 2008. New Jersey’s own Gaslight Anthem increased the voltage in festival-goers seats at Area 4 in 2008.
Coming on the heels of sad news that The Gaslight Anthem are going on Indefinite Hiatus when they finished their set at last week’s Reading/Leeds festival.
While I sort that one out – here is a taste of what they were up to in 2008. Certainly not laid back and non-plussed, they gave 110%.
Together since 2006 and releasing 5 albums during their tenure, Gaslight Anthem decided it was best to put things away for a while and work on other projects with other people. Putting the whole thing in the indefinite hints possibly it may be permanent and that struck a sour chord for a lot of fans.
But to remind you of what they were up to in 2008, The Gaslight Anthem doing their stand-out performance at Area 4.
