Sticking around the Paredes de Coura Festival tonight with a set from Power-duo Blood Red Shoes, recorded on August 19th.
The duo from Brighton, consisting of Laura-Mary Carter, Guitar and Steven Ansell, drums have been around since 2004 and have four full-length albums, a slew of singles and ep’s and, as of last year, are founders of their own label Jazz Life.
A mashup of styles, from Alternative, Indie, Shoegaze, Stoner, garage, revival and noise, Blood Red Shoes have carved out a reputation for themselves and a loyal and solid following, lo these past 11 years.
