– Suzanne Vega – Live At London School of Economics – October 24, 1985 – BBC Radio 1 In concert Series –
An artist who has slipped under the radar in recent years, Suzanne Vega was a prime mover in the resurgence in Folk Music as a viable, albeit neglected art form in the early 1980s.
Vega had a string of hits early on in her career and influenced a number of fellow artists to expand their horizons.
Tonight’s concert comes from the London School of Economics and was recorded by the venerable BBC Radio 1 for their In-Concert series On October 24, 1985.
No need to crank it up – it’s best enjoyed at room temperature.
Many Thanks……….Suzanne Is Still Great…..But Her Early Material Is Very Special…Thanks Again For This Show.
Thanks for your words Mick. Yes, there is always something special about an artist during the formative years – so glad you liked this one. Stop by often! – Gordon
