The Editors – Live At Trojan Horse, The Hague 2015 – Nights At The Roundtable: Concert Edition

– The Editors – Live At Trojan Horse, The Hague, Netherlands – October 2, 2015 – VPRO/3VOORFM –
Switching gears this week for things more contemporary. Tonight it’s The Editors, the hugely successful and critically acclaimed Indie band from the UK, who have had a busy year and are in the midst of promoting their latest album, In Dream, which came out on October 2nd.
This concert, a surprise show at The Trojan in The Hague in The Netherlands, was a launch for the album, which was recorded by the venerable VPRO on October 6th, four days after the official release.
The show sold out quickly, so this broadcast of the concert a few days later at least gave everyone who couldn’t get tickets, a taste of what they missed.
And if you missed the delay-broadcast, here it is, complete. Fans; enjoy – non-fans, or those not familiar; check it out.
And while you’re doing that, please-please-PLEASE make your tax deductible contribution to Past Daily’s Fall Fundraiser, which is in the last 5 days. We need your help and we need your pledges of support – we can’t do this without you and every penny you donate will be used to keep the site up and the archive preserving, restoring and digitizing the thousands of hours of broadcasts, news, history, interviews and Cultural events you see and hear every day here. So PLEASE (we’re begging now . . .) give what you can, by clicking on the link in the box below and let us know you like what you hear and tell your friends about it. Only five days left – five days to make miracles happen. I know you can do it – we did it before!
