Another short Fundraising update – the past couple of days have seen a rise in contributions – we’re now upwards to 20% of our goal! Yay!! Go Team!! I can’t tell you how important it is to have support from people like you; people who use and enjoy what Past Daily has to offer. And it’s great a lot of you are telling your friends – so, not only hearing about our Fundraiser, you’re also getting a chance to discover one of the more unique sites on the internet – one that avoids click-bait like the plague – will never offer you a top-10 of anything and doesn’t crowd your screen with ads for things you wouldn’t use if your life depended on it. We just offer the straight history – the arcane tidbits – the interesting asides that life is crammed with – all those pieces of history you never knew, or forgot, or heard vaguely about, but never actually witnessed. That’s what Past Daily is all about. And we need your help to continue, to keep it going, to expand. We have plans – a lot of plans, but we need your help and your Tax Deductible contributions in order to make those plans happen. And we’re not asking for a lot – just whatever you’re comfortable with to help make a difference. We do our Fundraising a couple times a year and we try to be as unobtrusive as possible – we keep the pitching down to a minimum, but you know we’re serious about this – serious about our commitment to you and to the cause of history and culture.
