3 days left – Not a lot of time, but a lot of catching up to do. I know people like cliff-hangers. Unfortunately my stomach isn’t as strong as it used to be. This is nerve-wracking time. I have made so many appeals and asked so many times for your help and support that I feel like a broken record. I am so grateful to all my friends (and so many people I’ve never met) who have contributed generously to keeping Past Daily up and running. Your contributions are whats holding this all together. But I need the rest of you – the ones who are waiting, the ones who are on the fence, the ones who want somebody else to step up to the plate instead of them. I know – everybody has been hounding everybody else for donations and contributions lately – politicians, inventors, musicians, actors, just people who need money because they need money. There’s a lot of competition out there. But if you don’t know by now, you have to realize that Past Daily is a unique website that offers things most websites don’t – we offer history and Pop Culture in ways that you probably haven’t heard before. Yeah, we have all the nostalgic stuff, but we also have the relevant things that have made a difference in our lives, and we didn’t know it at the time. Past Daily is here to remind that history is an on-going thing. What happens today may not have any impact for 10 or 20 years from now. But it always does – things that happen today have an affect on the world tomorrow. And I’m just here to remind you of that – hoping maybe we don’t make the same mistakes again – but at least being made aware that history very often does happen over and over again.
And so I’m appealing to you, during these last 3 days, to please consider chipping in, or asking your friends to chip in – whatever you or them are comfortable with – it’s Tax Deductible and you can take advantage of our Premiums (with a minimum $20.00 donation) while we still have them. The bottom line; there’s not much time left – hours, if you want to look at it that way – time is running and we need you. So please make your contribution today or tonight and help us get over this hurdle.
Click on the link in the box below and make your contribution – now matter how little or how much, it’s all needed and it’s all used. Fingers crossed.
Till next time,
Gordon Skene (the guy who runs this particular circus)
