Now That Our Past Daily Fall Fundraiser Is Over . . . . A Huge Thanks!

Past Daily Fall Fundraiser postmortem
Now that the Past Daily Fall Fundraiser is over – we can celebrate, breathe easy, and plan ahead.

Dear Fans and Amazing Friends:

In case you didn’t notice, our Past Daily Fall Fundraiser has been over a couple weeks now. It’s been crazy with a lot going on seemingly everywhere, but I wanted to reach out to everyone who donated time, money and energy and to sincerely thank you all for your continued support and encouragement to keep Past Daily up and running, and to continue being part of your day. I can’t tell you how much it means to have your support for what I’m doing here – takes most hours of most days. But I think it’s worth it, and judging from your e-mails, texts and comments, I’ve succeeded.

We hit about 10% of goal this time, but under the circumstances; between fires, hurricanes and the day-to-day madness of life on present-day Planet Earth, I think we did pretty well considering.

The most important thing is getting more of you to come visit – more of you to take time out and see what we have going on – more people who appreciate the eclectic nature of Past Daily – that we do bounce around quite a bit, but that you can take or leave anything you want, but that it’s available and at your fingertips is the important thing.

Oh, you can still contribute – you can do that any time. Fractured Atlas is our Parent Non-Profit organization and they’re around 24 hours a day. The button to contribute is always on our site (just to the right, where it says “donate now”), you chip in anytime you want and still get the benefits of a tax deduction for your efforts. We’re also affiliated with Patreon, which although it’s not a non-profit, let’s you contribute on a monthly basis, for as little as $1.00 a month.

But all that aside, I want to sincerely thank all those of you who contributed, some of you contributing more than once during our campaign and every one of you giving what you were able to. I can’t tell you how much your support is appreciated and how much I value your contributions.

So – a big hug to all of you, and I promise not to bug you again until this next time next year.

My deepest appreciation,

Gordon Skene
