Dry Cleaning In session - 2021
Dry Cleaning – an unconventional band for unconventional times.

Dry Cleaning In session – X-Posure With John Kennedy – Radio X – August 13, 2021 – Radio X

Dry Cleaning in session tonight. Recorded (as they put it) in isolation for Radio X in London and broadcast on August 13th of this year.

Formed in 2018, they were just getting their act together; signed to 4AD, a debut single and debut album, New Long Leg, out now. Just in time to come out of lockdown and pick up where they left off before they were so rudely interrupted by the Pandemic.

And if this announcement from their Facebook page is any indication, they are hitting the ground running:

Dearest pals, with the first tentative steps from our cave we come bearing great news of our impending live activities! Firstly, we will be journeying across Europa in January 2022 taking in as many of its wondrous sights as we can before heading back across the channel for our headline UK tour, upon’t which, our Glasgow show has been upgraded to QMU! We’re absolutely bowled over that our good friends in PVA will be joining us across the UK and Ireland and the simply spell-binding Maria Somerville will accompany is in Europe! What a treat!
And finally, it gives me great pleasure to announce that we shall return to the U.S this November to attend to some unfinished business in that great land!
If you would like to sign up to our mailing list, you’ll be awarded the opportunity of pre-sale tickets to all of these shows as well as the security of knowing you won’t miss out on any further missives from DC world! So, until next time pals….

Needless to say, they are hitting warp-speed. They’re doing a big sweep of the U.S. in November, with a gig in L.A. at Teragram – things are looking up.

Catch them if you get a chance. In the meantime . . . .
