CLT DRP is an electro-punk band from Brighton, UK. The trio consists of Annie (vocals), Scott (guitar) and Daphne (drums). The band began life as a 2nd year school project in 2017 and kept it going. Clt Drp pronounced ‘CLIT DRIP’ for those who have been too confused or too shy to ask – have been turning heads on the live scene for the last few years. . With elements of punk, electronica and heavy pop, the band have created an uncompromising sound that’s uniquely their own.

Showcasing CLT DRP’s unique position at the cutting edge of electronic, noise-infused music, their latest release,’Nothing Clever, Just Feelings’ seamlessly merges various genres to create a unique sound that is both exhilarating and reflective. Focused on themes of queerness and heartbreak, each track explores the raw emotions that come along with these lived experiences, delivering a personal and poignant message at every turn—newfound feminism in vulnerability and gender fluidity; newfound femininity in humour and the fear of being alone.

Commenting on the record, vocalist Annie Dorrett says: “Overall, this album embodies our true ethos of self-expression. Equally chaotic and hypnotic, it was meant to be blasted in the car at full volume while you curse your ex, your past ghosts, and you celebrate your cherished independence while you have it.”

This session, which was recorded a week before broadcast on September 8, also coincides with the release of “Nothing Clever, Just Feelings” and kicks off a UK tour.

In case you missed it, here it is – in case you never heard of them – now you have.
