With the sad news earlier this evening of the passing of Pete Seeger, one of the true heroes of our time and the Father of American Folk Music, I thought I would run this portion of the No on Proposition 14 Concert from the Hollywood on September 23, 1964. I ran the complete concert some weeks back, but tonight it’s the Pete Seeger portion and a tribute to one of the greatest voices of America’s conscience whose death at age 94 still seems like he left us too soon.
The passing of a giant, a true champion – he will be sorely missed.
