For those of you keeping an eye out for Festival Season this year, it’s safe to say the Outdoor portion of the program was kicked off yesterday when Primavera Sound kicked into hig gear yesterday.
In what promises, and looks like, three pretty amazing days of Music, New Jersey’s own Real Estate got things rolling on Day One.
Real Estate have been around for only a little while (less than four years), but are covering a lot of bases and playing just about everywhere they can. Prior to kicking off Primavera, they did several West Coast dates and are heading back to the West Coast in August. In the meantime, they have a full plate with a file cabinet full of Festival appearances between now and when they come back to the States.
From the sounds of it, the audience in Barcelona were roundly impressed – that bodes well for the rest of Europe. They head to Germany tomorrow.
