More from T In the Park 2015 tonight. A set from Scottish Indie group Idlewild, in a set from July 10th and faithfully recorded by the venerable BBC 6 Music.
Around for ten years, and with 8 studio albums to their credit, Idlewild have come out of hiatus (which started in 2010 and just ended this year) to play a killer set at T In The Park this year.
With some personnel changes, but continuing with their unmistakable post-Britpop/Indie/alternative brand of Rock, Idlewild have gotten a solid fan base behind them, and their reunion was very much anticipated both by audience and the press.
So enjoy tonight’s entry into the Festival sweepstakes – play loud. They are a little reminiscent of 70s Hard Rock in places – but they mix it up enough so that it’s relying on one genre of expression alone.
