Over to Baden-Baden Germany this week for a (short) concert featuring Sonny Stitt and J.J. Johnson (along with Howard McGhee, Walter Bishop, Tommy Potter and Kenny Clarke) recorded in the studios of SWF on October 15th and 16th in 1964. Known for his warm tone, Sonny Stitt was one of
