The Dutch Alternative/Indie/Absurd band Gruppo Sportivo have been around the better part of 35 years. Having some worldwide hits in the 70s and 80s, they never quite duplicated that string of popular hits in later years, but the band is still together, with personnel changes and maintaining a loyal fan base.

This weekend, it’s a concert Gruppo Sportivo did at the recent Great Wide Open Festival in The Netherlands, recorded and preserved for posterity by the venerable VPRO.
