– London Grammar – Live at We Love Green Festival 2014 – Paris – May 29, 2014 – RFI Le Mouv` –

This morning it’s a concert from the We Love Green Festival in Paris, recorded on May 29, 2014.

Heading for Glastonbury at the end of this month (June 30), it’s the start of their tour which ends up in Berlin on November (unless more dates are scheduled).

In case you’re just hearing about them: London Grammar formed in Nottingham in 2009. The band consists of Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dominic “Dot” Major. Their debut extended play, Metal & Dust, was released in February 2013 by Metal & Dust Recordings, while their debut album, If You Wait, was released a few months later in September. The album reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Double Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The band’s second studio album, Truth Is a Beautiful Thing, was released in June 2017, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The latest album, Californian Soil, was released on 16 April 2021 and became their second-consecutive No. 1 album in the United Kingdom.

On 19 March 2024, London Grammar teased the release of their fourth album on their Instagram page, showing a white background with a blurred image of a bee. This was confirmed as an album tease by Hannah Reid, lead singer, on her personal instagram (@hannahmayreid) on 20 March 2024, when she posted a photo of her new haircut and baby with the comment “Entering my mum era with bangs and brown hair. Oh and album 4 era”.

On 5th April the first track “House” was released, with the news their 4th album “The Greatest Love” would follow later in 2024. A second track from the album called “Kind of Man” was released on 17th May.
