New sounds from Sweden tonight. Sabina Ddumba is a singer from Fiskätra, Sweden. She’s already making a name for herself around Europe, in addition to singing backup with Katy Perry and performing with a number of notable acts around Sweden.
Two singles and a label deal with Warners in the U.S. as well as singing on the 2015 Grammy Awards, Ddumba is getting around and rapidly becoming a familiar face on both sides of the Atlantic.
Tonight it’s a session for the venerable Sveriges Radio in Stockholm, recorded on May 28th of this past year. Ddumba turns in a captivating set, with her band and to an enthusiastic audience. Sabina Ddumba has been making the rounds at most of the festivals in Europe this Summer. And anticipation is building for the release of her latest single, Not Too Young, which was previewed on this set tonight.
