Sadly, Supergrass called it a day back in 2010. Certainly one of the more energetic bands to hit the stage in recent years, going from their Shoegaze beginnings as The Jennifers to emerging as Brit-Pop powerhouses in 1993. They achieved huge success early on, with their debut album, I Should Coco the biggest selling debut album by a group since Please Please Me by The Beatles. And they had a successful run, from 1993 until their farewell set of concerts in June of 2010.

As a reminder of what Supergrass was all about, here is a concert from Paris, recorded in 1997 around the time of the release of In It For The Money which features a number of tracks from that album.

Play loud. It doesn’t sound the same all quiet and muffled. It’s almost the weekend anyway. The neighbors won’t mind. Much.
