Another sampling from this years Reading-Leeds Festival; a set by London-based Alt/Folk/Grunge conglomerate Wolf Alice, recorded on August 29th by the venerable BBC 6 Music. Together since 2010, Wolf Alice have been hitting their stride the past couple of years, with a debut album released in June of this year, capping a string of well received singles and two critically applauded eps to their credit, they are getting a solid fan base and making converts with each concert.
Further evidence this has been a very busy and satisfying festival season for 2015. They were a hit at Glastonbury earlier this year. They have a busy touring schedule for the remainder of the year; putting in appearances at dcode Festival in Madrid later on this month, as well as Lollapalooza in Berlin before heading over to the states for a cross-country blitz, including an appearance in L.A. at The Fonda in October. They head back over to Europe starting in November with shows in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels. Busy year.
