Kim Gordon for Friday Junior Lunch – recorded at The Roundhouse in London during the 2020 BBC 6 Music Festival on March 8, 2020.
We’re on a roll this week – we’re keeping it going. Today it’s Kim Gordon, who comes from the same day as Jehnny Beth performed (March 8).
This concert was significant as it represented the first time Kim Gordon hit the road for her first solo headlining tour.
Dubbed, “The No Home Tour”, it came in support of her 2019 solo debut album, No Home Record. The 25-date jaunt was split evenly between Europe and the US. The latter leg kicked off in July and included dates in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York City, and Boston. And after a brief respite, she went on to play shows out west.
Gordon’s touring band consisted of Sarah Register on guitar, Emily Retsas on bass, and Sterling Laws on drums.

Good times.
