With the sad news earlier today of the passing of music icon Lou Reed, the blogosphere and airwaves are filled with tributes and reflections on the life and work of one of the most influential figures in pop music.
So as way of tribute, I located a concert from Sveriges Radio in Sweden of a concert Lou gave in Stockholm from 1974, right around the height of his Transformer days.
Very few words are available that haven’t been uttered or written at length today. So I will shut up and let the music speak for itself.
Rest in Peace Lou – the Wild Side is no doubt waiting to greet you on the Other Side.
