Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic in an interesting and historic program, recorded between April 15 and 20, 1976 featuring the U.S. Premier of Benjamin Britten‘s Suite on English Folk Tunes “A Time There Was”. Followed by a performance of William Schuman‘s Concert On English Rounds and finishing the concert with Robert Schumann‘s Piano Concerto in A Minor with Murray Perahia as Piano soloist.
