Getting festive with the (mostly) unfamiliar this week. The Christmas 2009 Prague Radio Symphony Concert featuring works by Jan Jakub Ryba, Jan Mica and Jan Våclav Vorisek. The concert was recorded by Radio Prague on December 21, 2009 and relayed to BBC Radio 3 for inclusion in their excellent Through The Night series.
Somewhat short, but a really interesting concert with works by some composers I am not familiar with (except Vorisek). Here’s what’s on the player and a list of the soloists for the Czech Christmas Mass:
