Haven’t heard much from the multi-talented Jim Noir lately. With such a prolific output as he’s had since 2005, you more or less plan your week around hearing something new from him. But, one would imagine there’s a period of time needed to rest and regroup. And I suspect there will be another onslaught of new material coming up soon.
But in the meantime, here is a session he recorded at The BBC for the Marc Riley Program in 2010.

As always, listening to Jim Noir’s music is a sonic adventure with a lot of pay-offs. It’s inventive and thoroughly engaging.
And when it’s like that, you can’t seem to get enough of it – even with five albums under his belt so far.
